About Rohmann Iron
Founded in the late 1920s by Fred W. Rohmann as Rohmann Ornamental Iron Works, our company began as a miscellaneous and ornamental iron fabricator. In the early 1960s, we transitioned into structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection—dropping “Ornamental” from our name to become Rohmann Iron Works, Inc., the name we proudly carry today.
Family-owned and operated for four generations, we continue to serve general contractors and developers across Michigan. With over 200 years of combined team experience, we’ve built a reputation for delivering superior quality steelwork, competitive pricing, and dependable service.
From design and detailing to fabrication and erection, Rohmann Iron Works provides complete steel solutions to keep your project moving—whether it’s commercial, industrial, or residential. Our commitment is simple: deliver on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
